Chloe I. Himmel

Senior Advisor, Government Relations and National Security Policy

Chloe I. Himmel is a Senior Advisor for Government Relations and National Security Policy. She is the Director of Congressional and Government Affairs at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where she engages with Members of Congress and staff on both sides of the aisle on national security and foreign policy matters. Prior to joining CSIS, Chloe served as the Chief of Staff for Legislative Affairs at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Her previous experience includes roles with Lockheed Martin Government Affairs and in legislative affairs positions throughout the executive branch, including the Transportation Security Administration, the Department of Defense, and the DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis. She resides in Washington, D.C., and is a native of Chicago, IL.
